ASCONA

2019, Documentary Film, 15:00 Min, 16mm

ASCONA explores a place that seems frozen in time, unchanged since the 1950s yet still existing today. A miniature golf course becomes a lens for examining society. Reflecting the conservatism of the 1950s, the film presents protagonists who recount the early days and challenges of the course, balancing leisure and competitive sport in the dry landscapes of northern Germany. Shot on 16mm film.
